OUR KIDS

 Simron, is one of the latest to join the Grace home family in Auguest of 2011. She comes to us from New Delhi. Her mother is no longer able to care for her. She and her cousin were place in an orphanage in New Delhi and were ill-treated. The head master at St. Thomas School asked us to take them in. They are providing their education at St. Thomas free of charge. Simron is in grade 3.
Isika, age 8, is first cousin to Simron. Her mother is not more, and her father abandoned her. She went to live with her aunty, Simron's mother. But lately, she could no longer care for the girls. She also attends St. Thomas School and is in grade 3.
This is Satiya, age 5, dressed and ready to go to St. Edward's School for boys. Satiya is in kindergarten. His father left his mother. She remarried and has twins by the step father. They are day laborers and cannot care for Satiya. Satiya is very active and a challenge at school, but Aunty LS loves working with him and thinks he's an angel.
Aniket is 7, and also attends St. Edward's School in grade two. Aniket's father was killed in an accident. His mother must go for work and can't care for him. He has two older sisters. Aniket came to us a year ago. This beautiful boy enjoys sports and watching TV.
Evangeline is in the 6th grade at Jesus and Mary Convent School. Pearly and Diviya attend this school as well. She is eleven years old. Evangeline has been at the home since 2005. My husband and I led first her father and then her mother to the Lord. They married in our church. As migrant laborers, they cannot provide for her education as they travel around for work. Evangeline is a great help with the younger children.

Sarah attends ECI Chalet Day School and is in the 4th grade. She came to us in 2005 after her mother died. Her older brother John was with us until this year. She is Nepali. She likes to make crafts, watch TV, and play badminton.
Pearly is nine years old and is in the 4th grade. She also attends Jesus and Mary Convent School. Pearly's parents died of HIV, yet she does not have the disease. She has been with us since 2005 and we consider her our own.

 Rani is Nepali. She has just turned 12 years old and is in the sixth grade. Rani studies at ECI Chalet Day School. She has been at the home for two years. Her parents are believers but are laborers. They want her in a safe, Christian environment. Rani likes to read. She is also a big help with the younger children.
 Rahul likes to be called Happy. He is eleven years old and is in the fifth grade at St. Thomas School. He just recently came to Grace Home. His father died and his mother remarried. The step father does not want Rahul. He was in the care ofhis granny who has high BP. She could no longer care for Rahul, or his cousin Dipanshu. Happy is the perfect nickname for Rahul. He has such a winning smile and good attitude.
Sooraj attends the Lalpani Government School with Jevan. He is in the 8th grade. His father is handicapped due to an accident and is unable to support him. He came to us this year from another homeafter it closed. Sooraj enjoys sports.

 Sudhrsan is in the third grade at National Public School. He is 8 years old.He has six older sisters, two of which are married. His parents are new believers and cannot care for him. Sudhrsan has special needs. He is a special boy indeed! He brightens our home. He is new this year.
 Precious Karishma is five years old and new to Grace Home. She has no mother. She was in the care of a grandmother who can no longer look after her due to poor health. Karishma will begin school soon. She is a little sweetheart.
Dipanshu has no parents. His father became so depressed after his mother died that he disappeared. No one knows where he is. He went to live with his granny. His cousin is Rahul. Granny can no longer care for him. He recently came to Grace Home. He is six years old and will attend ECI Chalet Day School. Dipanshu loves sweets.
Yukesh came to us recently from South India. He is eleven years old and in the 4th grade. His parents want him to have a good education. He attends the National Public School. 
Abishek is the youngest child at Grace Home at 4 1/2 years old. He has no father. His mother is a believer in Jesus Christ. He just recently came to Grace Home. He is attending National Public School near Grace Home. Abishek's cousin is Anju. He is another of our very active little boys.
Emmanuel is 9 years old and is in the 2nd grade at St. Thomas School.  His father, a pastor in a village, died last year. His mother is unable to care for him now, and see that he gets a good education, so he is remaining at Grace Home. He is her only son.
Ashish is no longer the youngest at Grace Home! He is five years old and attends St. Thomas School as a first grader. His Nepali parents are road laborers and are believers in Jesus Christ. Ashish is a happy little boy.
 Jevan is truly a good big brother around Grace home, always helping with the younger kids. He is in Lalpani Government School in the 8th grade. His parents are migrant laborers and unable to care for him. Because of Grace Home, Jevan is receiving a good education.
 Nirmila is such a tremendous help to us. She has been to Bible College, and would love to continue her studies, but she suffers from seizures, making it difficult to attend college. After she has a seizure, she must rest a couple of days. This August, Nirmila left to attend Bible College, praise the Lord!
 Anju is Abishek's cousin. She just came this winter when her granny could no longer care for her.  She is 7 1/2 years old and is attending National Public School. Anju presents some challenges as she is a special needs child. She also brings special blessings with her smile!
 Diviya goes to Jesus and Mary Convenent School with Pearly and Evangeline. She is 6 years old. She has been with us for two years. Her father left her mother. Her grandfather was caring for her, but brought her to us when he no longer could do so.


This is our daughter, Christy. She almost 13 years old. She is in the eighth grade at Auckland Day School. Since February 2011, she is boarding at the school. Christy loves Marley, and goes to see him whenever she can.
